ABOUT ME – lawyer in Poland and in the US
I’m Piotr Kuźnicki, a Polish advocate and U.S. attorney-at-law focusing on corporate law. I specialize in setting up corporate governance structures, handling mergers and acquisitions, and advising startups and investors. My experience spans various industries, including gaming, finance, and retail. Before setting up my own law firm, I practiced in top law firms from international firms to business law boutiques.
I graduated summa cum laude from the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Warsaw, where I also earned my Ph.D. with a thesis on “The Boundaries of Legal Personality.” Additionally, I completed my LL.M. at UC Berkeley Law School with pro bono honors and have conducted research at Yale and UCLA.
I teach corporate law and venture capital transactions at SWPS University and coordinate my studies in law and technology there. I regularly appear as an expert at conferences and legal courses. I have published numerous articles in legal journals and was nominated in the Rising Stars competition organized by Wolters Kluwer.
